Christina Roman is the outgoing president of the University of Chicago SACNAS Chapter, which was awarded the 2018 SACNAS Professional Development Award. Christina and the other chapter leaders were formally reconized at the National SACNAS conference in San Antonio, Texas on October 13. Christina is a fourth year graduate student trainee in Joe Piccirilli's lab.
